This illustration is about a story I wrote. It is a year after the Minotaur was killed by Theseus and Ariadne. The labyrinth is now empty and the kingdom of Minos abandoned. The sister of a monster victim and a warrior are behind the ring that belonged to the deceased brother. With the ring she can prove that she has the right to the throne in her native land. After many adventures in Crete they continue their journey to the island of Naxos, in search of Ariadne, already married to Dionysus and living in the temple of the panthers.
